INGREDIENTS
1 cup sugar
1 cup of water
1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons).
Add 2-3 cups of cold water (or more to taste)
METHOD
Simply add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup of water in a saucepan and gently heat until the sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat and add 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons). You can also add shavings of lemon rind for an intense lemon flavour.
Add 2-3 cups of cold water (or more to taste) and refrigerate (about 30 mins). A refreshing drink with plenty of summer zing.
